Attendees will learn about mission & vision statements, basic financial measures, how to seek and receive financing, how to create a 'game plan' for their business, the importance of public relations, and how to negotiate and resolve conflicts. Each workshops will be punctuated with networking sessions and breaks, and every interactive workshop will be accompanied by handouts with simple tools for future use.

causeit awarded p.r. contract with q-land!

causeit, inc. has just been awarded a sizable contract with q-land, a portland-area non-profit supporting the mind, body and spiritual wellness of men. their focus on queer men and the many issues they need addressed to live whole and complete lives is an inspiring message to convey for causeit, whose focus on the lgbtq community has been strong since day one.

causeit will address the need to re-brand q-land and publicize its existence and offerings to its target audiences. in addition, causeit will train q-land’s existing volunteer team to recreate q-land’s message online and in-person, draft collateral materials for a fundraising campaign, and re-author the content of the organization’s website. we’ll also implement an email system which will allow users to see more information with less clutter, while automating subscription and bounce-back services.
